The DG Murray Trust has partnered with the National Department of Social Development and the National Treasury to strengthen policies and procedures for financing developmental social services that support vulnerable citizens. As this collaboration progresses, the procurement of an Information Technology System Administrator is critical to advancing the next phase of system development.
The implementation of the Sector Funding Policy has underscored the importance of reliable data. In response to the NAWONGO judgement, a shift toward an integrated electronic Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) system has emerged as one of the focus areas, aimed at improving data accuracy, strengthening funding decisions, and enabling more targeted interventions.
The Information Technology System Administrator will primarily support the System Development & Monitoring Directorate within the Strategy & Organisational Transformation Branch of DSD and the NPO Funding Coordination Directorate in the development of the Data warehousing system. The primary objective of this role is to ensure efficient data warehouse management, business intelligence dashboard, knowledge sharing, and information dissemination to support evidence-based decision-making and strategic planning, mainly for funded and unfunded NPOs.
