DGMT has appointed Kentse Radebe as its new Deputy CEO. Kentse previously headed DGMT’s work towards the goal of keeping All Children on Track by Grade 4.
Before joining DGMT, she was the Project Manager for Systems Innovation at the Bertha Centre and her academic background is in Sociology and Organisational Psychology. She is also a Senior Atlantic Fellow for Health Equity, a Mail & Guardian 2019 Top 200 Young South Africans award recipient; a Public Health Association of South Africa PHILA Emerging Practitioner Award winner; a Fulbright Scholar and an Allan Gray Orbis Foundation Fellow.
Kentse brings energy and intellectual rigour to her work. This appointment is made in recognition of her leadership skills and will free up more time for DGMT’s CEO, David Harrison to help drive an Accelerator of the National Programme of Action for Children. Applications for a replacement for Kentse’s current role are open until 31 March 2024.
