Role

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for social justice and a knack for strategic communications?

We’re looking for a Campaign Manager to join the Alcohol Harms Reduction team. Our mission is to reduce the social and public health harms linked to alcohol abuse by addressing its structural and systemic causes.

Minimum requirements

  • Advanced degree in Social Sciences, Communications or similar with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in advocacy and strategic communications with a strong network of media and civil society relationships.
  • Experience in engaging with diverse stakeholders, including government and civil society organisations.

Candidate must be able to or have:

  • Ability to design and implement advocacy strategies and use research to shape communications.
  • Strong digital media production and engagement skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Passionate about social justice and confident in public speaking.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of a public advocacy and communications strategy focused on the World Health Organisation’s Five Best Buys.
  • Provide political, socio-economic, and communications insights to inform project decisions.
  • Develop and implement long-term communications plans and campaigns.
  • Manage the campaign’s brand and reputation, track public perception, and respond to inquiries.
  • Engage with media partners and develop high-quality communications content.
