If young people get work experience within the first few years after school, they are likely to remain employed. If they don’t, they are far more likely to be jobless for life – or at least to never get decent work.
By age 25, half of our young people are neither in education, nor are they in employment or training of any kind.

We support a number of pivotal projects or key partnerships that we believe are, or will in the future, play an important role in enabling young people to get their first decent job.
Although these projects are associated with specific opportunities, they also complement and build on each other.
We also regularly develop articles and resources to make the case for these opportunities and to support the efforts of those who are working towards achieving them. You will find such articles referenced in the profiles of projects, or pulled together in a thematic collection.
