Social franchising is an important strategy to scale up social programmes allowing them to reach more people and increase their impact.
An initiative funded through the Rockefeller Foundation is now launching a social franchising accelerator in South Africa and are calling for submissions (motivations for participation) from social impact organisations that are ready for scale-up. Through the accelerator three organisations will be selected to set-up three franchises in three new geographical locations each, to reach out to 500 new beneficiaries per organisation within one year. Submissions are due on the 15th of February. We strongly encourage our partners and other organisations ready for scale-up to apply for this opportunity.
