If children can’t grow well, the economy can’t grow well

Food prices shape food choices — and unfortunately, protein-rich foods are mostly out of range. If children can’t grow well, the economy can’t grow well. It’s as basic as that. The urgent challenge is to fill the 30% gap between the basic foods that poor children need and the food their parents can afford. In this op-ed by DGMT CEO David Harrison, we look at a proposal about how we could do that and better the lives of millions of children.
